The interesting part of this race was the inexperienced Hummer driver "leading" the race. The gun fired, and the runners took off. Many catching up to the truck and passing it. Naturally, no self-respecting Hummer driver would put up with a bunch of skinny runners showing him up on the road, and about a half mile later, he went flying past the crowd to regain the lead.
